I haven't decided yet if I want to over-summer it. I generally try to keep everything alive, but I have to budget my energy. i imagine it will need repotting, if I want to keep it. kudos to you for keeping them going!
Thank you Sjoerd Pacnorwest and Melody, it wasn't so sunny today but the bees were on the hellebores, sorry haven't got any pics.
A winter rose bush. A thank you gift from Hubby to enjoy inside until it moves outdoors into it's summer pot on the deck.
That is one thoughtful husband! Your rose will be happy outside when the weather gets better, and you and your rose will be happy inside until then.
That's very thoughtful of your husband Melody and I'm sure that it will be fine when planted out and love the colour.
I'm pleased to announce that we have blooms! Other than snowflakes, snowdrops, and crocus that is. Got some Cyclamen a friend of mine insisted I take and plant in my garden since she had bought three pots of the thing and only had room for two: Also got Helleborus blooms. Here are three I managed to photograph without breaking anything in the process. This is H. Cinderella: A double, nameless beauty originally from my mother's garden. And this one, a very charming Helleborus with longer, more wavy petals than the others I've seen around. It's a rescue from a grocery shop and I'm ever so glad I saw it between other half-dead plants.
Wow Droopy. Those as SO BEAUTIFUL. What lovely photos. I really like the wavy petalled one. Your spring has sprung! How long are your days now?
Noffink helleboring about your Helleborus’. I have been waiting for your annual show. What a collection you have. Stunning….really.
