Tetters— I was just wondering to myself…do you think that Daniel, could have…possibly…maybe…have gotten into the butter all by himself, and now he’s trying to pull the butter wrapper over our eyes?
No no no! But I might use some butter to make chocolate chip cookies. Maybe with cinnamon and cayenne pepper?
Spot on Mel. The chef doth protest too much, methinks. Shame on you chef Daniel for trying to deflect attention with promises of your delicious cookie bribes. I would say, “Come clean”, but that may be difficult for you with smeared butter.
Mate, I have always been a bit suspicious about this chap actually - he LOOKS like a butter nicker to me. We must stay staunch about protecting the innocence of that dear little dog
I noticed the innocent Rufus had no yellow moustache, but there was no foto of the chef. Hmmmmm. Yeah, a butter nicker. Yeah, you can’t judge a book by its cover…but we aren’t in a library here, we’re in a kitchen— Chef Daniel’s kitchen.
Nope. Rufus done did it. I was out and came home to the butter wrapper on the floor. From now on, the butter stays in the fridge when not in use. Hercule Poirot knows who ate the butter.
The well pump is working now. We had to prime the pump with lots of $$$$$. Well, it was the electrician and pump repair guy who got primed with lots of $$$$$ LOL. That's country life. So, it will be back to the farmhouse again, and more time in the garden. Back to normal. I finished the last most difficult blocks on the current quilt today. Next will be the four corner blocks, then start sewing the blocks together.
Hubby is recovering from his hernia surgery well, just got 2 more weeks for the check up to see how it's getting on. He'll be able to do things after that within reason. Going to see my friend Marion this afternoon for a few hours.
All right, all right. If the Belgian says it ain’t you I guess you can walk this time, but like Tetters said, we’re gonna keep an eye on you, mate. Just imagine— throwing poor Rufus under the bus like thst.
This afternoon went to see my friend Marion and pruned her 4 roses and the bits that i took off i made into cuttings and planted them in her garden. I forgot to do her budliea, but i can do that next time.
Thank you Pacnorwest, i don't mind doing it, before Christmas i gave her a few plants and planted them for her. But now the ground is getting difficult to weed because it's clay, have to wait for some rain.
