He definitely has personality. It's a bit embarrassing how much he communicates and runs the show. If he wishes a nap on the sofa, and an item is on the sofa ( even something as small as a sock) he will come and paw me, then run back to the sofa, put his paw on the sofa and stare at the offending item. Once it is removed, the nap can commence. ( I of course do as I am told and remove the offending item). I'm a well trained human. :)

Oh mate, that is too funny. He is so funny, he is. Oh, and there is a lot to be said for an obedient housemate. Charming indeed.

Good Saturday afternoon all. Currently -9°C and sunny.
Just got home from the rink, where we have been since 7:30am. I'm going to have some lunch and then take the dog out for a walk and enjoy some of this sunshine!
Not sure whats up after that, I'm gonna wing it!
Have a great day all :)

I am taking it easy today! We have overcast skies and chill, so I'm just fixing pizza for lunch, and a simple quiche and salad for dinner. A girl needs a day off once in a while (unless you are Netty).

Today is a dusting and hair removal day ( Angus', not mine). Like Pac an inside day while mother nature blows and howls outside. - 15 c with 60 wind gusts today and expected to last until Sunday night. Everone is asked to stay home, which we are happy to do. Hubby had the tough chat with me today to revisit my seed sowing calander. We normally have some sort of melt beginning this time of year, and instead by the middle of March we will have three feet of accumulation since Feb and more coming in March. The day time temps don't go above freezing, and night time 10 degrees below normal in the negative teens.
Eventually it will melt, but he is unsure if it will go before the hope of an early May planting. As long as I have veggies in by June 1st, I should be able to have a harvest before first frost. So today is also replanning my calander...and dreaming of spring.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -1°C and mostly cloudy.
Today my grandsons are coming over to hang out with us while their parents go pick out/pick up some supplies for their house build. This week is a busy one as far as their house build goes, and by next week they should be ready for insulation/drywall. House is supposed to be ready to move into by the end of April. I cannot wait for them to be out of their horrible rental house they have been staying in!! Should be a fun day with the boys :)

We are half way through a big snow event. It sure is beautiful outside. :) We woke up to 13 inches and it is still snowing. I tried to snow blow a trail to the outhouse for Hubby, and my blower refused to move forward. I eventually got it to engage and found a washer or o ring on the way back up. It's not broken so something came apart. It is parked until I can figure it out, but I think I'll bring it inside to thaw and drip dry.

I shovelled the rest of the path for him, and the took the weight off of the deck. Angus is refusing to do this "thing" because he is pushing snow with this chest and feels that we should hurry up and plough so no parts have to sit in the snow while he contemplates life. I shall get on that. :)

Good Monday morning all. Currently -7°C and sunny. Weatherman says we are getting a snow storm later today into tomorrow.
Had a great day with my grandsons yesterday. I dragged out their Moms old 'Dream Dollhouse' and some play tools and we had a blast! Thankful I get to spend some quality time with them when they are little.
Today, I have a whole lot of things to do for the skating club. Music for year end ice show and name tags. And then off to the rink tonight.
Have a great day all :)

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -3°C and overcast. Last nights big snow storm was a bust (again) and there's barely enough snow to cover my feet. Is it just me or are the weathermen overly dramatic these days?
My seed order came in yesterday, so I'll be sorting seeds and planning the gardens and planting times today.
I'm getting excited - only 20 days until spring!
Have a great day all :)

This is shaping up to be a good day for us. Husband is out getting the truck inspected and an oil change, and I'm making Cheddar biscuits (one of his favorite things!). We have sunshine and very little wind, and the temps are tolerable in the high 50s.
The tree guys showed up yesterday (after three calls and a three week delay) and will finish up today. If they don't show up, there's trouble in their future.
More comfort food for dinner--spaghetti and meatballs, and Foccacia bread. Again, some of husband's favorites. I'm so grateful I don't have to deal with the truck things!
Hope your day shapes up to be good, also!
