Delay’s for everything seems to be the new normal internationally. Life in many ways is always testing our patience.
need to get our vehicles in for inspection. Had oil changed and fluid check. The technician found a mouse nest in the heater filter. I found a mouse nest in the bird feed inside a container with a lid. After feeding the birds I put a 50 gal water bottle on the feed container lid so the mice can’t sneak inside .

umm .. yesterday cut back a tree that split in several sections and another with a large limb that fell & flattened lower limbs threatening to take down more limbs. It’s the heavy wet snow and it’s snowing again. It’s always fun cutting down snow loaded branches which always seem to end up with snow packing on top of me whilst clearing .Never a dull moment., burr cold experience even though I was tightly bundled up.

Fixing ham shoulder , Sweet taters and baked smashed Brussel sprout's with parm cheese, flatbread and strawberry gelato.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -3°C and overcast.
March 1st! Spring is creeping up ever so slowly! Today my youngest nephew turns 28, and I'm not gonna lie, I'm feeling old!
Not too much happening around here today, some cleaning and making a list for tomorrows shopping trip. We'll be at the rink this evening for a few hours too.
Have a great day all :)

Happy March First! We all have survived February, and spring is on the way! Since it is overcast today and windy, I'm staying in and cleaning. Where does all this dust come from? I have dust bunnies the size of wallabies under the bed.
Enjoy your day, and keep thinking of March 20, the first day of spring!

Good morning! Currently 3°C, scattered clouds, but dry! We're going to enjoy most of this day outside since we're in for a week of we-don't-know-what's-coming-but-it-looks-bad weather. Spring is probably cancelled or postponed again. I remember years when we went straight from winter weather to summer weather, and I didn't like that much. I want my seasons, thank you very much!

Hope your Thursday will be a good one, all!

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast. Weatherman says we are getting another snow storm tomorrow, so its a good thing I do my errands and shopping on Thursdays! Quick trip into town as we are watching the grandsons this afternoon while baby sister goes to the doctor for her well baby visit. It's going to be a fun day!

This turned out to be a good day, after a very dismal start. Timi, our indoor/outdoor cat, didn't show up for dinner last night, and wasn't here this morning. We had thunder storms this morning, and were hoping against hope that she was holed up in one of her usual spots. When husband went out to feed the hens, he looked in the usual spots, but no Timi. She casually strolled in just before dinner and we were so very grateful, happy and relieved! Why do we get so wrapped up in a pet?

Completely understandable…or should I say, recognisable... in myself. Chuckle.
But it is a cat we’re talking about here, so the pity is that it isn’t a two-way street.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -7°C and sunny. Its a beautiful day, but that is supposed to change early this evening. We are going to have another apocalyptic snow storm (can't find the eye roll emoticon, but insert here) Why is it that the media over sensationalizes everything these days?
Now that I've said that, this storm will be different haha
Just figuring out the Microsoft office app today, and hopefully fiddle with Publisher. Should be interestng!
Have a great day all :)

Good Friday during Lent! Do you all have fish fries in your area, especially on Fridays? We were notified that a local church was having a fish fry today from 5 to 7 p.m. I am not a fan of fried fish, and my husband agrees. We are skipping this gourmet delight!
Our weather is sunny, and high is supposed to be in the mid-50's. I hope so, since I am also not a fan of cold weather!
Today is shaping up--we have Penn and Teller's magic show on the telly tonight, a sherry sauce chicken for dinner, and a cozy night under a blanket. Timi the cat will be in her room on her bed, warm and comfy.
All is right with our world, and I really hope it is with yours!

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 0°C and sunny. Last nights snow storm left quite a bit of snow, but I was able to get to the rink thanks to my AWD. It was a really good test of how much snow it could get through because the roads weren't plowed. Sun is shining now and its a beautiful day!
Laundry and cleaning to do, and then hopefully I can get outside and enjoy the day.
Have a great day all :)

We woke to a surprising -18 C this AM. I wondered because I could hear the deck and trees popping around 3 am. I took some warm food and a heated cushion down to Puddins the barn cat. She is Hubby's companion usually but his access to the barn is difficult right now. I'm very allergic, so I wear his jacket and take some meds, then go give her a big cuddle. She left me a mouse this morning. Sometimes it is an ermine. Apparently cats do this because they think their human needs looking after....she's trying to feed me. o_Onom nom nom

Today was sorting seeds and updating my planting schedule to try and accommodate the weather. If the sunshine is good for it's promise I'm hoping for a long walk this afternoon. It certainly is nice to see some blue sky. :stew2::stew1:
