Every Easter when I was little we'd make the trip up to my Auntie's house in Hednesford. I thought this a bit odd as I had loads of Aunties and Uncles but we always went there at Easter.

Turned out she wasn't my Auntie. She was my Sister

 

Beautiful blooms.. Bright yellow … that’s the color of the sun… ? I almost forgot the brilliant yellows from the sunshine. It’s been a bit overcast and snowy.rainy. I know spring will arrive eventually…so cheers to all who have already experienced the glory of spring.

 

The Forsythia was my mother's favourite sign of spring.

Awww, @Zigs! How old were you when you found out she was your sister? I unexpectedly got a sister in June 2021 and I was thrilled. She'll probably get in touch once she's come to terms with the situation.

It was Spring here this morning, back to winter this afternoon though

 

Had to take this from the dining room because it's raining.

 

I brought these home from the lottie yesterday. They were closed buds and opened overnight even though the heat was turned off.
