What's Looking Good in March 2023

Thank you Droopy and Pacnorwest. The supermarkets did have them potted up last week but all gone now.

 

It came with that label, I did a video having a moan about labeling in the UK

Ooo loving the parade of spring blooms.

 

Caught a slug munching away at the primroses. Some buds and blooms on the viburnum.

 

Lovely pics, Pac. I was so surprised to see that the snow there seems to have vanished. You can really begin now. That cheeky slug must be reprimanded though. The viburnum looking quite smart. Is it one of the fragrant ones?

Yes finally a few pics since the snow has game. There is new snow storm comin. I hope it misses us. I just got the gardens cleaned up.

Viburnum has turned into a small understory tree 22’ tops. Rather than trimming it into a shrub I removed side shoots to train it into a small tree.
It has a nice sweet fragrance.
oh that slug will feed it Sluggo. Non poisonous to animals and birds. The slugs and snails eat the bait and immediately stops feeding. After they stop feeding, they become less mobile, and they start to die in 3-6 days. They go to a hiding place to die, so you do not have to see them.

 

Looking good Pacnorwest i hope that you don't have too much snow. Never had trouble with slugs on my primroses.

 

Those are great bushes/trees. I like the early sweet fragrance.
I hope the storm blows right on by.

 

This looks better in real life, still got to cut the old stems off the lavender.

 

I especially like the beauty of your border. That Primula looks quite smart.
