Your rhodie pics are so beautiful. Still hoping to see some rhodie bloomes here soon. This pic is from last year the tallest rhody is 32’. There are several rhodies planted around the perimeter of the garden under semi shaded areas and of several different colors. When they are in bloom they’re the bomb…the rest of the year a bit dreary . They add shade for other plants and rhodies have very shallow root systems which makes it very easy to move them.
I love all of them. Up north (Pennsylvania) we have rhododendrons... Down south here there are azaleas. Are they related or the same? I would not mind a giant one of either of them. Purple is fine.
