Love this variety of tulip and the fancy daffodils. The house has been smelling so good with fresh cut flowers.
What a lovely tint of yellow, Mel. Are you excited? Jewell, your flower pics are nothing less than stunning.
Today I took a moment to examine a red flowering current (I think). It’s a much smaller and thinner bush than I’m used to seeing so will heavily mulch around the base at some point. The hummingbirds visit when they want a break from the feeders.
Mel, thanks. It is a joy to see the little flowers. That variety of heirloom primrose has multiplied for me easily. I have divided them so many times and creating mini borders. Can’t wait for the three new colors to recover. Oh, the possibilities. @Sjoerd you are always so kind. Thank you.
I am very excited, thank you Sjoerd. The little packet of pansy seeds was a gift from my neighbour that I share my garden with. I'll be potting some into some pots for her little deck next week, and having some on my deck.
Ahh, that is really nice, Mel. I hope that you will enjoy them. They really re a lovely plant and can last a long time if you have the time and/or puff to keep up with deadheading.
I’m hoping to have a small section of my front yard in these. Right now they aren’t very impressive but maybe with time the little 5x7 foot area will fill in. They are so tiny.
Very impressive to have flowers in spring along the path. It won’t be long til the rhody’s are bloomin.
Some pics from today’ first the stinky hellebore fully open and setting seed. They turned from lime green to pink.. Japanese camillia… Trust snow drops. Self seed hellebore double bloom. One of the magnolias ‘Stella’. ‘
