This is the first year for this volunteer, about 10 inches tall - the multi-color is unusual. Any guesses? Jerry

Should have recognised that, I used to grow it. My excuse is that it was a long long time ago though.
I believe it grows on rhizomes, and you should have it in the soil by now. I have never grown it myself, but it sure is tempting, and hardy!
