Gorgeous wallflowers. Those things look good anywhere. Our council plants them at the base of some street lamp poles. It was a nice idea.
It is late for us, but we finally have some plants blooming! The apple trees are in bloom: And two native flowers are showing up: This colloquially known as Snake Weed, but it's Transcandentia. And we have West Texas Mallow, also: All are most welcome sights, and we are hoping for more soon.
Thank you Sjoerd and Pacnorwest those cherry trees look amazing. That tulip was from a mixture of free bulbs so i don't know the name of it or i would get some more.
Spring has finally arrived and sharing all our garden pics has definitely brought all lots of happy smiles. I always enjoy everyone’s pics and many garden tasks accomplished. Lots of thanks to all of you liked many of my spring pics. Adding the rosemary and thyme from todays garden walk. Bluebells are blooming and lots of peony buds..one huge tree peony bud. And showing a very unhappy plant that bit the dust after many years . Weeping white pine tree it’s only 49” tall has been a major rare dwarf tree . I will remove the branches but leave the main trunk hoping maybe it will send out new shoots.
@Pacnorwest good luck with your pine. You never know… yesterdays trip to Costco and I sidetracked for some lupines. They put them right next to the pallets of potting soil…dirty trick if you ask someone who tends to be a plant addict. The weather has been a perfect mist in the mid to high 50s throughout the day so they should do very well in their new home. ‘After years of looking for inexpensive house plant supports it appears the universe finally heard me. Over the top metal plant stakes are a nice change from my coconut core wrapped stakes. Although I enjoy both it is nice to find a variety of house plant options. ‘Finally a way to corral this unruly Hoya Australia. I was about to give it away it was too stringy. A nice variation from having this as a hanging plant This is probably too tall but I am tired of taking cuttings and now will be forced to chop, chop. Add another post extension or use a metal circle? Hummm
