With the hot weather, wildlife has been seeking cooler spots. We had this wee toad on our porch table this morning. Oh, that tile is cool to a toad's feet!

We had a large toad in our garden too Jane. It made short work of all the slugs and snails we've been getting recently. It's welcome to stay as long as it wants to. :smt045

On the whole, I’d say toads are cool animals.
How did that lil fellow get up on the table anyhow? Does your watchtoad have a name?

He is cute there's no denying that but beware toads have poisonous secretions that can trigger allergic reactions in humans.
