Hello my friends. I'm so sorry to have caused worry. With the heavy smoke and a cranky satellite internet system we have not had internet. We do not have cell phone service where we live. We weren't able to adjust the dish until the smoke eased a bit. Fingers crossed it is fixed now. I am so touched by your concern and consider myself a very lucky lady. I was able to connect with Sjoerd when we had to travel to the city for a night. Our nearest fires are safely across lakes, and 20 km away from our home. BC has certainly struggled, and there are many still struggling and out of their homes, or homes lost. I'm very humbled and grateful that we are okay. Thank you for the kindness. You certainly all know how to touch a ladies heart. I am truly sorry to have caused worry.

Thank you so much for the kindness. I really don't know what to say....just thank you so much. CM- we are quite careful. My kids bought me an air cleaner for the house, and when it's thick I wear an N95 outside. My Respirologist is fabulous and keeps a close eye on my asthma. BRING ON WINTER!!
