Well, they are square because we felt greedy. Normally we just use one dough square and fold it into a triangle. This square one required two dough pieces—perhaps wasteful, but hard graft needs to be rewarded, right?
Wow, those look so good, Sjoerd! I won't be doing any baking or gardening for the next few days. Oh! I forgot we make s'mores one of the nights!
S'mores (or Smores they've taken out the apostrophe at some point) are campfire things. You roast a marshmallow, then put it and chocolate between two graham crackers. It kind of melts the chocolate. I personally just think they're okay. My way of thinking is why ruin a perfectly good Hershey bar with graham crackers and marshmallow. I like all three of them, separately. But the kids love them.
Thanks for the explanation, Willow. I can imagine what they taste like. I do like chocolate (dark) very much, so I can see why a child would like it.
