Great photos of an amazing scene! I must ask though, how do those boats get out of the harbor? They seem to be stem to stern with little room to maneuver.
Many sailing yachts now have bow and stern electric thrusters. So they can crab their way out of a berth sideways, or do a 180 degree turn on their own axis. Also photos from that distance don't accurately show the amount of "wiggle room."
Cheers Jane. It is the angle of the foto that makes it difficult to see. A drone foto. All the way on the left, you can see that harbour. It is easier to see that there is plenty of space to motor about. Our harbour is actually a series of small harbours. A drone foto
Oh wow Sjoerd you’re lucky to live in such a beautiful Country. A magical fantasy in the making showing those buildings, the architecture is , history, color and ‘Style’. The whole city is quite charming, as well as the country side showing greenery , boats in the harbors and we can see a clear view all the way to the open seas. That is a special picture. I would’ve mind having that hanging on my wall.
Pac— Glad you liked the foto’s of the neighbourhood where I live. It is the old area of the town. The newer part of the city is not completely visible on the fotos. I can pick out my building though. I appreciate your complimentary remarks, mate.
Actually I think I found your building..area..by the water right side of the waterway going out of the harbor?
Those are beautiful photos Sjoerd - must make you take a deep breath and smile warmly from the inside out when you look at your views. So lovely.
I oooh-ed and aaaaah-ed a lot just now, when I looked at your photos. You have such a lovely view, and straight at my all-time favourite tower too.
