I thinned my chili pepper plants to one per cell, in the six-packs. I also thinned the Eucalyptus seedlings.

I've been taking the rescued Valentine's day rose plants and the geranium starts outside on warmer days. Some days are still too chilly. The rose plants all have new growth, but it's too early to keep them outside 24/7.

I have been cleaning up some of the overwintered geraniums.

That's heart breaking. I always get upset if the gate is left open or if Rufus doesn't come when called.

The neighbors Pomeranian comes over pretty often. He likes playing with Rufus and vice versa. I don't know his name. I call him "Sparky". I worry a out him being hit by a car. Drivers here are psycho.

I worked on that blue jean quilt all day instead of working in my garden. I have the flannel backing all together. Now I have to put the top and bottom together and do the binding. I think I will tye off the quilt, because it would take forever if I hand quilted it. I want to get it DONE.

I noticed the Rudbeckia seeds germinated, four days after taking them out of cold stratification.

I put the mini roses outside for the day. It was only about 50 F but the rose garden rose bushes are pushing out growth, so I thought the mini roses would benefit too.

The rest of the greenhouse soil has been removed and replaced. What a job!

I am not sure if I have posted this pic already or not.

Did nothing today, but an "incendiary," dropped through the letter box today.
    "A David Austin catalogue."

Last year, I bought these two plants for the hanging baskets in the hall, to replace some tired peace lilies. But they "weren't well received." So I bought more peace lilies.

There wasn't anywhere else in the house for these, so they ended up outside.

I don't like plastic pots, so I bought this for them and painted it. (twice!)
This brought the number of these planters we've got to five.

It doesn't look as if they've survived the winter, but I'm not bothered.

"We've" ordered two patio roses from the catalogue, to replace them. The planter will take much bigger pots.

There was a voucher for 15% off with the catalogue, but they still cost £43.

It wasn't that long ago they would have been half that price.

Nice choices of roses, Riley. The containers are not shabby, are they.

Looking great @Sjoerd! Soon you will be tying those tomatoes and then they'll look like Christmas trees, covered with bright red ornaments!

@Riley, those catalogs should be illegal. They hypnotize people into buying roses.

I'm waiting on four varieties - Darcey Busssel, Silas Marner, Bring Me Sunshine, and Boscobel.

My containers are not as nice as what you created.

I love their catalogs, only I cannot buy any. When I bought mine they were $25, but I am sure the prices have been raised since then.

A couple of my rose bushes have leaves sprouting. They are the two I don't know the names of. My forsythias are blooming, and the lilacs have leaves sprouting. The red flowering quince bushes are full of buds. Some of the forsythia cuttings have a few blooms. There are onions/garlics sprouting in my compost heap. I guess I ought to transplant them.

I did housework, and worked on that jean quilt today.

Should have been a golf day, but my electric trolley is in for repair. It's supposed to fold down like a flattened "Z", so you can easily put it in your car boot, but one bit won't bend. Fortunately I've not missed a game as I wouldn't have played in the rain.
There's a few things to do in the garden, but I'll leave it until the week-end, today, it's too cold and wet.
