The love of Birds

Hi all.. Long time since I was here. Since my stroke I'm more or less house bound. My wife passed away last year and my two sons live in different provinces, 659 miles away in Calgary and 2700 miles away in Toronto. But I still have the birds that I try to look after. I would like to share a few of my pictures of them that I have put together in a little story. I hope it works and that you enjoy looking at it. Mate, I am over the moon to see you on here and hear that you are alright. I am very sorry to learn that you lost your wife. Sincere condolences, my friend. I hope that you are getting along pretty good now.
As always, I find your work with birds so enormously interesting. It is interesting how you can get them so close. My special interest is the variety of birds that you have there— almost all of which do not exist over here. Great posting. I hope that you will be able to visit here more often.

 

Thank you Sjoerd for the nice message. I will try to visit more often although not been able to garden doesn't leave me with many options other than birds,, We do get one bird that you may be familiar with.

 

I am so pleased to hear that you will try and show up more often. It does not matter if all you talk about or show are birds. That will suit me just fine.

A great set of pictures, they are not too many around here and are classed as invasive.
