Just been out and about round the garden ......here is what our start to April looks like. Lilac budding up nicely and is now a good size, this was grown from a tiny cutting I took about 5 years ago.
Loggie, that looks like a line-up of beauties down at the nick. Very nice. Oreti— your April beginning is lovely to see; so many familiar faces. It is a joy to see what you have growing there. I specially like your Frits. The foto taken from the dizzying height gives a good perspective. If this is also the view from the master bedroom, you would have a great beginning to every day. Just imagine waking up to that garden scene! BTW, chapeau for your accomplishment with that Syring.
Here's my Mint, Parsley, and Stevia! And here are the sunflowers I dedicated to our late dear forum member Eileen. Lots of other stuff to share also. But it's dark outside, so don't want to be disturbing the plants and all the good helpful insects with strong lights right now...
S-H stevia too. Have you used it to sweeten food. I let the leaves dry and grind them in the coffee bean grinder to a powder… it’s a handy annual in my zone. All the sunflowers are doin nicely and one is about to flower . Clay-22s pring daffs always make gardeners smile , soon the garden will be wide awake…. Orieti like the Birds Eye view of the garden. Very nice colorful plants and design. Logan beautiful colorful spring flowers, need smell-o-vision. It’s now not long til gardening season will be in full swing.
Spring is finally here even the hawks are out squeeling as they hunt for field mice/voles, the landscape is a poppin with color and flowers. Daniel I think you might like this grafted camellia. Japanese Camellia 'Lady Vansittart' . Each one is a different color growing on the same camellia shrub. Slug/deer resistant. Pulmonaria’s deer and slug resistant. Heathers bloomin all winter thru the entire season /year. Deer proof / slug resistant. A few different daffs still shinning. Deer and slug resistant. These are infested with tiny flea beetle larvae. Fancy daffs. The fish have popped up in the pond today. The warm weather brings out the hungry fish. Knats poppin on the water. A stand off between a chipmunk and the tiny bird that looks shocked . Everyone is out on this bright sunny day. Cleaning out the winter collection of gunk from the water feature/bird bath.
Thanks for your kind comment @Pacnorwest . Love your pics especially that beautiful Camellia..it's truly stunning.
