what's looking good in April 2024

    We have a Cherry tree but the blossom is over with now and the recent strong winds didn't help either!! I love seeing it in blossom ..even fleetingly. We don't have any cherries though as the birds feast on them .:D

    Some late daffodils, this year because it's been very wet the slugs and snails had a go at them.

    Those doubles are so bright! Niiiiiiiiiiice.
    As for the daffs—well, anytime is daffy time. Right?

    Sjoerd such a nice variety of flowers. Even the smallest of blooms brings smiles. Soon the wisterias will pop. It’s the anticipation that seems like forever , but when the blooms finally appear it’s always worth the wait.
    Lilacs are marvelous. And the fragrance is always a spring surprise to be grateful for . .

    Pac, we say, “voorpret is ook pret”.
    This just means, anticipation is also pleasure.
    Voor = beforehand….pret = pleasure.

    One can use this saying for several situations like before taking a vacation or going to a special party.
