squeak has not been to well lately, she has had trouble with her spine its a slipped disc or some crumbling of the spine after several visits to our vet she has been put on steroid tablets.

As you can see from the photo taken on christmas day she seems to have made a remarkable recovery(her doses were large to start with but have now gone down to half a tablet every third day)and she has been losing some weight which can only be good for her,she has curbed her climbing and jumping too.

    HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

Glad to hear Squeak is doing better. Having been on steroid treatments my self, I know they can work wonders.

Losing some weight will certainly help Squeak towards a full recovery. She's a lovely relaxed kity in the photograph and I'm sure the steroids are really helping her. :-D

Glad she is on the mend. Losing weight will definitely help a back problem. Maybe she can catch some low fat birds. 8)

What a wonderfully fluffy tummy - tempting to pet. So glad she is feeling better, I think we can all sympathize with back trouble.

Bethie said Maybe she can catch some low fat birds.

In my blurred vision I thought you had written low flat birds THERE IS A STORY as far as we know she has never actually caught a bird maybe a few mice and the like, the story is when we fist moved to wales one of the others caught a bird and she being squeak had a face like thunder and a few days later went off to return with a bird problem was it had been dead for a long time and was as flat as a pancake.
We thanked her for her present and went inside she was so proud of her "catch" and we did not stop laughing for days.
she has always been a bit of a "townie" but love her heart has settled to country life very well

What a pretty kitty. She is indeed completely relaxed, as kitties should be, of course.
