Daylillies are really opening up now. Likewise the Hypericum too. Verbena Bonariensis reaching for the sky... some are almost 6ft tall !! Hydrangea. Dahlia.....see how dry our soil is!
Beautiful.. hypericum is a lovey shrub with berries . It a standard in my garden great filler in floral,arrangements. Oo ouch lil dahlia seems happy in dry soil. A pretty one. ? Name ? Small maybe from seed? And love the hydrangea. And 6’ verbena. Stretching out for sun. Nice variety of flowering plants and shrubs as well as shade trees. Enjoy the tour. Thanks for the treat from across the pond. peony’s are poppin. A couple potted plants. Succlents left - and spider plant with Bromeliad and a tiny cranesbill. Lavender reflection in a gazing ball.

Hi @Pacnorwest ...thanks, no idea of the Dahlia's name or if it's one grown from seed I'm afraid. It's one I had to overwinter in the greenhouse. I tend to find that the ones that have to be kept out of the borders during Winter are usually a lot smaller. This is a bit of a test to see how that one and two others do this season in that bodrer...not ideal as it's not only dry and rock hard to dig but also solid clay under that top layer...we will have to wait and see. I admire all you folk who can recall the names of all your plants . Sadly I will never be one.....on the other forum that I'm on I'm lucky enough to have a 'partner in crime' who shares the same talent as me...even our labels go walkabout !! VB self seeds everywhere here and grows so tall too. Beautiful Peonies..and your Lavender is fabulous....very artistic.
Cayuga— that rose looks really good there…but your allotment looks healthy and is progressing well. It is always such a pleasure seeing the goings on in your community garden., Wonderful pics Pac and Oreti. You guys must be well pleased with the progress there. It is nice seeing colour bursts in june because over here june is usually our least colourful month.

Been moving perennials and hostas, potted up everbearing strawberries that arrived and some small hostas that need to find better permanent homes. Things that are blooming another peony Wild Shasta daisies are blooming on the hillside between the hostas the hi red digitalis developed lots of flower spikes Campanella bellflowers are everywhere in purple or white. Love how they self sew like the digitalis ‘last years lupine have come back bigger and better the perennials in the new front bed are slowly filling in and some are blooming. another lovely self sowing perennial The dog park has been reseeded with white clover
