Never thought I'd see this day come, but right now entrepreneurs from my part of the world on YouTube are today marketing water misting systems, that will keep your house and garden cool during summer months, (which in my locality now lasts for 10 months in a year). Quit an interesting idea for a start-up actually. Wish I had thought of it... Temperature is reduced by 4 to 8°C from this, almost 10°F. Only problem is that we must have enough water supply to make it work. Which too is now becoming a problem in some areas, (because of power outages)...
Cool today, no rain. It feels like a typical late June day for this area. Not bad at all. I feel for all those who are so affected by far worse conditions. Today the insulation man is schedule to re-insulate the attic. He will replace the two inches of shredded newspaper cellulose insulation with sixteen inches of fiberglass insulation. The old stuff was somewhat degraded and there was mold and mouse you-know-what up there. These retrofits are a lot to deal with, but I hope they keep the house cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Plus, fiberglass is not flammable.

Seen them a few times in life, in childhood mostly, when I was playing outside. But unfortunately didn't have a camera on me at that particular moment to photograph it. I'm sure this would still be occurring from time to time. But I'm not 12 years old playing with my Dog at the beach around sunset time - Nor are kids of today playing outside either. As they are today more interested in playing online games with each other. Plus the hot weather too doesn't really allow them to play outside. Parents too are now fearful regarding the law and order situation, (as there have been some horrible stories of kidnapping). That's why we now only see such things in pictures online. I think I'm the last one to have seen it with my own eyes. But thanks @Pacnorwest for reminding me of some amazing childhood memories.
I just did a little bit of search about this. They are sometimes called mother of pearl clouds, sometimes rainbow wave clouds. However the technical name for this atmospheric phenomena is cloud Iridescence. It's most beautiful, and I've seen it a few times in life.

Since outside weather is again too hot for me. I'm inside for the time being - And inspired by @Pacnorwest , I'm searching for strange and rare atmospheric phenomenons. Therefore now I'll share something about lightning, Saint Elmo's Fire, ball lightning, blue jet lightning, and jellyfish like red sprites. Pretty amazing stuff to learn about.
So continuing my exploration for knowledge, here is something about Asperitas Clouds. The very rare and newest addition to cloud types. And this video below is about Noctilucent Clouds, which I think are pretty amazing to observe.
