Well Kay, I think you ought to periodically show views of the shady plot’s ever-changing character. I wish that had the space to grow more bushes.
Phlox and lilies are fragrant enough that walkers have commented. Think I will move some lilies to the street border next year. The color and plant combinations are quite an unexpected riot of color because rescue and moving plants was a task just getting them all in the ground. . ‘There were a few insects this AM. The spider was attempting to catch bees way too big and smart. The moth I would not have noticed except I unintentionally sprayed it with water and it was shaking it off.

Including the story on the nasturtiums & clematis . They all round out your many talents in gardening . The sage color plant you asked about is: Lambs' Ears (Stachys byzantina) .

PAC- What is the tree pictured after the Lilies, and before the Petunias? I think there is one line thus at our city zoo that is very striking (and unusual for our area) it’s so cool!
I absolutely love my verbena bonariensis! I’ve had them over winter several years and put more in this spring. It is a great tall airy addition to my beds.

My campanula opened today. And an unexpected white coloured Bread seed Poppy full of bees. My first day lily opened. And a Flanders Lady Bird Poppy
It’s a mimosa small tree , Albizia julibrissin. It’s invasive in some growing zones - not in my zone 8b.
