Thanks Pac— you may recall that I got these Dahlias gratis from a company that sold me an almost empty bag of another type of rots. They turned out fine. I do; however, admit mine are not as lovely as yours. Cheers Clay— I am glad that you like these Dahlias.
Sjoerd dahlias are a fantastic addition to any garden. There are 42 species of dahlias and many sub species. I have always wanted tree dahlias but that’s another story for another day. They come in an astounding range of forms and colors, their blooming period is one of the longest. In my zone they start blooming in late June and continue in flower until first frost. That longevity and variety of dahlia’s have given the dahlia the accolades it so richly deserves in every garden.
