Every one of the photos shared by Stewbies is amazing! So much gardening talent and nurturing. It's awe inspiring!

Some dahlias. The large ones were overwintered tubers. The small ones, grown from seeds this year.

These were in a seed mix called "Mignon". Some nice red ones, too. Honeybees love all of these.

These were a seed mix called "Improved Dandy"

I always wondered if the dahlia seed mixes were worth the effort, and if they would perform in the garden. Based on these, the answer is yes, absolutely! They were a lot of fun.

I don't know the name. From last year, I kept over the winter in the garage.

Mandevillas. This year, I gave them low nitrogen fertilizer so they wouldn't make long vines.

    The first morning glory flowers.

Small grocery store dahlias that I overwintered. Much bigger this year. I got behind with the deadheading.

Celosia and strawberry Ozark Beauty. I think the celosia variety seed mix was called "Plumosa Glorious Dwarf Mix" or sonething.

Thank you Stewbies for sharing your inspirational photos!

Beautiful dahlias and great choices for the garden. Nothin like a dahlia this time of year. They bloom until the first frost when everything else has left the building. Lovely variety of plants and flowers. :sete_013::setf_016:

Pac—Super good fotos this time. There were flowers, trees, bushes a smashing sunset and insects. I lurved them all.
I liked the Hibiscus with different bush types. Someone has been grafting there.
I was surprised to see your fields are already brown there. Gosh, it seems that the season is rushing by.
What I liked about h strawberry tree more than the fruit was the colour of the stems. I can see that it would work well in your garden if only as a striking decorative element, like some types of Cornus.

Oreti—Do I see some Celosia over to the left in a urn? Gosh, that section of your garden really is pretty. I like that foto with the colour. Then the second piccy with the single Dahlias and Antirrhinum. It is splendid. You've such nice gardens. Chapeau.

Sjoerd appreciate your lovely narrative about my garden pics. You always say the kindest things about all our gardens. And right back at ya. Your garden is gorgeous and so well maintained always as neat as a pin.
The lush greens , beans, fruits and tomatoes and so many creative combinations of techniques to produce a delicious harvest to enjoy all winter.
