Cheers Oreti— they do indeed, but to be honest they are more impressed with the sweet fragrance. It is quite strong.
it’s time to cut dahlias down here in my zone . The colder nights in the 40’s have caused many to shut down and I need time to dry the tubers to set aside for winter in a cooler dark space just as I have pulled all the amaryllis inside also dried for a rest .

Thanks for reminding me. I have container dahlias that need to dry out too. I will put them away from potential rain, today. Rain is predicted for every day after Sunday. I better get to it! The dahlias that I grew from seeds are in the ground and still blooming. I plan to wait for a frost before digging them. They have tags already.
