The last of the Autumn jewels from the garden. We are expecting a Bomb Cyclone and atmospheric river -lots of rain. The good part no more leaves to constantly clean up or climbing on the roof to clear leaves and needles every day. Hopefully they will all be blown away and out of sight. The bad part could mean damage to property trees and limbs all over the pastures. I’m voting for less clean up and no property damage or roof leaks. I think the cam pic below is blurry from fog over the lens outside on the roof. Today takin a break from roof cleaning. this is a dwarf acer palmatum that glows in the dark from the Autums leaf transition .
Wow... a stunning Autumal colour show Pac!!! The 2nd pic looks like flames of fire, spectacular !! We have strong winds forecast ( at the moment but knowing our forecasts all will change) at the weekend so I'm hoping it will bring down a lot of the remaining leaves too.
