I joined a local gardening group in my town early this year and we are doing our part to help raised funds for a school building. This is the first time for me to grow for a good cause. I am donating 10 young sweet basil plants to be sold. The plants are growing well and I am feeling good.

Hope they will be at least 6 inches tall on the day of the event.

KKNG, you have found the happiness that comes from doing something good for others. I'm sure your plants will thrive, sell in a minute, and gives much pleasure to the buyers. Good on you!:smt051:smt051

Nic job, @KK Ng! Those basil plants will be appreciated. It's such a flavorful herb.

I have not grown specifically for charity. I have taken quite a number of boxes of fruit to local food back and a social services center. It's a nice feeling.

KK— A deep bow to you, mate. That is such a good and worthy cause. I know you are feeling really good about yourself now. Well deserved. Doing something for another is such a good thing to do. Good luck with the fund-raising.
    Keep us posted.

Thank you all and I am keeping my finger crossed that all will grow well. I have passed on the plants to the organizer of the event that is happening on 24th November. I will not be able to attend the fund raising event because I am still in Thailand travelling.
