It's been rather cold lately, and Timi has decided to spend her day, and most of the night indoors. One of her (many) daytime spots is on the sofa with a nice soft cushion to her back. That's okay, Timi. I'll just sit on the floor!
Our three are doing the same. Don't blame them either. We have one who plays 'knock and run' in the night. She pushes open the bedroom door which is a sign that they need to go out. The others go to the front door for egress, she runs and hides.
Marlin— heh, heh, heh. While it is patently obvious that Timi has her life with you folks sorted…I have a couple of things to add to your thread: I immediately have to compliment your choice of sofa covering. I find it attractive, even posh…but that’s just me. The reason I like it so much is because it brings back memories of our travels. When we were in Malaysia and Indonesia we came across fabrics with patterns similr to what we see on your sofa. Interestingly enough, the name is Ikat. The style seems to be appropriate here, considering the actual centre of focus of your posting. Of course it isn’t pronounced the english way, but you get my drift, right. Ikat is a process of tightly bundling or binding yarn, dying it then weaving it. Here is an example: Wel, you know what— this particular example really does seem to go with your Princess, What do you think?
Sjoerd, princess? Timi prefers the title of "queen" and/or "your highness." That fabric is striking. I'd never heard of that process of weaving and coloring. Gosh, the things you can learn here!
Marlin— wha, of course…please extend my deepest apologies to Her Sleepiness. You are right a out learning things on here. A person sees and hears so many things on here. For instance, imagine my surprise when I learned there were other countries in the world besides Nederland. Just kidding, there are new ideas and techniques to be seen here…and the capabilities some folks here have. It really is astounding. I am glad you liked the ikat story. That is a thing that is well-known in parts of Asia. I am a little surprised that it has not been imported to Europe more. Of course it is known here due to the trade of the East India Company (V.O.C.). We have a close tie to Indonesia and Malaysia, in fact KK’s city (Malakka) is a sister city to my city here. —it’s a small world after all.

15 years old twins. They are together like that at the moment, too. For how long? If you look closely at the middle of the back of the one on the left, you can just see his reduced fur coverage patch. He will not leave it alone so the fur does not regrow.
