Netty— haha, not surprising that the banana bread was disappearing so quickly. Congrats.

Philadelphia has won the Super Bowl, beating Kansas City 40-22 behind 221 passing yards, two passing TDs and one rushing score from quarterback Jalen Hurts. The Chiefs beat the Eagles in Super Bowl LVII in a 38-35 thriller. Harrison Butker hit a game-winning field goal with eight seconds to play to break a 35-all tie.
What a close exciting game. In my eyes they both won ! Only win was by the clock timing out in overtime.

Good Monday morning all. Currently -8°C and overcast. I think I see some light snow falling out there, but it wont be light out for another hour to be certain.
It was a busy day yesterday and most of my regular housework didn't get done. I got up bright and early and have tidied the kitchen and started the dishwasher. I'll catch up with all the other stuff after my coffee and GardenStew time. I feel like I need a little lazy time today so I'm not rushing.
Nothing else planned today, just rink time tonight.
Have a great day all :)

I am a little tired this morning. Hard to sleep last night; after watching my Philadelphia Eagles win it all in dominating fashion. Fly Eagles Fly

Netty— go laze-out. If anyone deserves a bit of a laze, it’s you, isn’t it. You are such a hard worker.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -9°C and clear.
I'm not excited about today at all. I'm going to the dentist for a couple fillings. I hadn't been to the dentist since before covid so I was long overdue.
Yesterday a friend of mine brought over a rabbit trap. I guess he was tired of listening to me complain about the rabbits eating all my shrubs. I let him know this morning that we caught one, so hes going to come over and get it and reset the trap. One rabbit down, 5+ to go! They really are getting completely out of hand!
After my dentist appointment I'm going to go out and do a little cleaning in the garage.
Have a great day all :)

Hi Netty— great work with the rabbits. They can completely devastate a garden.
Some anti-socials threw some over the fence of our gardening club one year and they quickly multiplied to unbelievable numbers. I could walk from my garden up to the clubhouse and count seventy !
Everyone had to set up fencing or loose their crops and flowers. What a nightmare.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -15°C and clear. There was a beautiful full moon out last night and it lit everything up so beautifully!
I caught rabbit #2 last night and my friend will be coming by to relocate it for me. There is at least 3 more here to go.
Weatherman is calling for another winter storm tonight and tomorrow, so I am going to do my Thursday shopping and errand trip today in case I am snowed in tomorrow.
Not alot to get today, but I'd like to be well stocked. Plus I am out of milk for my coffee haha
Have a great day all :)

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -8°C and snowing. Its been snowing all night, and blowing. When I opened the door to take the dog out there was a drift at least 1.5 ft of snow against the door and on the porch. That was instant grumpy and I came back in and shut the door. I'm sure the driveway is full of snow again too. So it looks like another day of snow removal, and just in time for the high winds there are calling for tonight. Grrrr, I am SO over winter!! Thankfully I did my shopping and errands yesterday, so we are stocked up on everything. My coffee has been drank so now I guess its time to dress up for my dog walk and to assess the driveway. Its going to be a long day. 34 days until spring.

Netty, you have my sympathy--what horrible weather! I was going to complain about our 29 degrees with high wind resulting in a wind chill factor of 25 degrees, but perhaps I'd better not.
No outside work today. Cat's on the bed, husband is catching up on paperwork, and I'm contemplating making an apple pie.
Hope everyone's day goes better than Netty's.

Netty— you have my sympathy too. the Spring calendar there has 34 days left. Burrr.
…annnnd, all that snow. You ought to be able to give lessons in snow removal by the end of winter.
How are the rabbits coming along? Do you have number three yet?

Marlin— imagine that: an apple pie for no special reason…just because you can do it.
I call that, “Heaven in Central Texas”.

Good Friday morning all. Currently -8°C and overcast.
I spent a good part of the day moving snow around ... blowing, plowing and shovelling. Even moved all the vehicles and did around there and put them back all ready for the next round of snow forecast for late Saturday into Sunday. I went to bed early, worn out from the days events. You will never guess what I woke up to this morning ... another intense snowsquall and 4 more inches of fresh white powder!! :smt013:smt076:smt089 Its starting to feel like that groundhog movie where every day is the same day over and over and over. UGH! I guess I know what I am doing again today. And the forecast has changed, so I'll be doing it again Saturday, Sunday and Monday too! I don't remember a winter like this since I was a kid. Someone please call off Mother Nature!

With all the snow I haven't put the trap out for fears that I couldn't get out of my driveway to relocate them. I will get back to it when the snow settles down.
Have a better day than me everyone!
