Netty I hope you can locate what you need. It is tricky not knowing where things are especially when you need them. I have similar issues. I think this summer I will just have to start with what to save, sell and what to donate then trash. It’s always that conundrum. When your need the very thing that you threw away, even through you had it for years sittin around gathering dust for years.

Netty—What a job! A garage…my goodness. That will be some work alright. Perhaps there will be some sellable stuff. Good luck mate.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -13°C and overcast. There is a north wind that makes it feel extra cold.
No bunny in the trap again this morning. They are getting smart.
Off for our Saturday morning skate until noon. I'll get to see my grandkids as two of them are learning to skate.
Then home for some more sorting of the garage.
Have a great day all :)

@Netty ice skating ? I read that a lot in your posts. I’m a little late to the party . Is that ice speed, or figure skating.I’m watching live ISU World Cup in Poland .

Went to my local family owned farm market/nursery Adam's Fairacre Farms for their annual gardenfest. This year's theme Renaissance Faire. Photo size too large to upload will work on that.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently -4°C and overcast. It feels so much warmer than yesterday, and the high is expected to go above the freezing mark. I hope it doesn't go too high ... I would like all this snow to melt slowly so it doesn't cause problems. But this may be the beginning of mud season, and anyone with a dog will know what this means.
Again, no rabbit in the trap this morning. But when I opened my blinds to check the trap, there was a rabbit sitting below my window. I guess hes not hungry enough yet.
Food prep and some sorting of the garage today. DH was a mechanic by trade for 40+ years and hobbyist so there is lots to sort.
My daughter is a figure skater, now also a Coach teaching kids to skate. I sit on the Board of Directors of her Club so we both spend a lot of time at our local rink. This keeps me busy in the off season until garden season begins. 24 days until spring, and counting!
Have a great day all :)

Thanks for additional info regarding your past reporting on taking many trips to the ice rink. I get it much better now. Watching figure skaters is of course one of my favorite sports to see. Amazing what those talented skaters can do on ice. It’s a life long dedication and passion. You must be a proud Mama.

My grandson is on the US ice speed skating team . He started skating in grade school, now an adult living at the US ice skating sports compound in Utah . His thighs are huge . It’s a daily work out mentally , emotionally and physically. Summers he also competes with inline speed skating to stay in shape all year. It’s a whole different lifestyle. It’s a daily challenge to stay in shape and stay healthy .

Good Monday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast. Highs above freezing expected again today.
It was a nice day yesterday, and I spent the afternoon outside. I'm still trying to dig my way through the snow into the outbuilding, and move snow off the decks and walkways. The next few days are going to be above freezing so that should help soften up the snow for moving. I would really like to get the snow away from the house as I'm worried about meltdown.
No rabbit again this morning. I'm going to have to come up with a new plan I think.
Todays plan is cleaning house and some bookwork.
Have a great day all :)

Netty— good to hear that melting is on the way. Please be careful.
Sorry to hear that your rabbit catching has dropped off. Don’t give up though.
My fingers are crossed for you.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast. Highs are expected to hit 5°C today and it looks like rain.
I was hoping to get outside today and shovel some more snow away from my foundation. I am extremely concerned what is going to happen when it all starts to melt. Its only a matter of time before my sump pump kicks in, and then there are going to be a lot of sleepless nights. We haven't seen this much snow here since we bought this house almost 22 years ago. Fingers crossed for a slow meltdown :fingerscrossed:
Meanwhile, lots of little jobs to do today - Starting with taking out the garbage and walking the dog.
Have a great day all :)

Netty it sounds like the snow level is way over the average for your area. Back to back snow storms has you buried in snow. Digging out is hard to do. Be careful.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast.
This morning when I opened the door, a rabbit was sitting right beside the trap. Thunder was after it like a shot! Wonder if it was going to go in, or just continue eating on the burning bush? First rabbit I've seen in days.
The snow is melting slowly, and so far the sump pump hasn't started. The warmer temperatures lately sure have given me spring fever! I spent a good part of yesterday outside just enjoying the day, digging out the gates and shed doors and chipping away at ice. It felt nice just to 'putter' outside.
Off on my dog walk, have a great day all :)

Nice update on your rabbit invasion. To see a rabbit just chomping away on a plant sitting next to the trap is priceless. Hope the chase by thunder will help deter more rabbit attacks on your garden plants,

Good Thursday morning all. Currently -1°C and snowing. Oh yay, just what I needed was more snow! Weatherman only calls for 2cm so thats not bad.
An interesting event this morning ... the bait in the rabbit trap is gone but the door is still open. I'll re bait and check the latch, and hopefully that only gave the rabbit confidence to enter again. There sure is a lot of bunny poop under the Burning Bush!
Its shopping and errand day today. I don't need too much today so it should be a quick trip.
Have a great day all :)
