Some of my veg was grown in winter and is still in the garden as I am saving seed.
Chinese celery for seed saving. I have onions scattered around because I bought too many sets !!

A Youkon gold potato with some Fava beans.

Above are Courgettes or summer squash as we call it in the States.
Yukon gold and Red norland potatoes
IMG_1875.jpg cuce, Bok Choy. I'll remove the two that bolted and let the one that didn't bolt grow to save seed. IMG_1887.jpg One cuce, then more red onions. Below that a pepper and some Thai basil . IMG_1881.jpg IMG_1876.jpg IMG_1878.jpg

Sorry my pics aren't in order. I have trouble with that.
Winter squash is growing as are my two cucumber plants. I had just one out and just transplanted the other a few minutes ago. The moneymaker tomato is big and blooming but no tomatoes as yet. IMG_1911-2.jpg

I'm itching to dig out those new potatoes !! I planted these out in january so they all should be starting to go over soon. Funny how we have such a huge difference in climate from the UK to S. Georgia, idn't it ?

We've got the cold North winds and the frost to deal with. I found a couple of plants that had come up in January between the frosts so I transplanted them into a cold frame within the netted tunnel. The frost still got them and they've only just come back up

There's a huge difference in climate in the UK too, where I used to live in Dorset I'd be a month or so ahead and in the Channel Islands they grow early potatoes to sell to the rest of the UK. They're called Jersey Royals (not to be confused with Jersey Devils :D) and you're not allowed to call them that unless they're grown in Jersey

You have a really nice garden @Anniekay! I think your style is similar to mine. We could almost be neighbors... on different coasts.
