A little predication for us members in the U.S. https://weather.com/forecast/national/news/2025-04-16-summer-outlook-heat-rain-drought
I'm in that "Most above" zone. I think I can already feel it. The garden is really dry. Goal for today - get the drip irrigation running in at least two more garden beds. There are three main lines. I think two are good but need appropriate emitters. The third is barely dripping. I will have to pull up the buried line, which is under the mulch, and re-install it. Or just cut it and put in a new line. The main issue with emitters is my crop rotation. Row crops (onions, garlic, beans, lettuce, radishes) get linear emitters. Individual plants (tomatoes, peppers) get spot emitters. So I have to switch the lines with the crop rotation. Plus they tend to deteriorate or get plugged with time. The other issue, maybe I should set out the tomato plants and start squashes. It's a month earlier than usual, but it's getting hot out there. Challenge: some nights are below 40F even though days are in the 70s.
I think this doesn't quite reflect how warm it really is. My outside thermometer, in the shade, was reading 80F yesterday.
Good morning all, light rain and a moderate breeze temp 9c to 14c Precipitation 61% Sunrise 6.02 Sunset 20.12 Dry later but we had rain till 7pm yesterday, which is good.
Sunny, dry, not really humid and no rain expected for at least 10 days. My low was 61 which is more like what we normally have in March. It's been a very cool spring this year but, the day temps are up there. High is 88°f for today. My temps are running 2-4° higher than the predictions. Yesterday they said high 86 and it got up to 90° . I bet it will get to 91 or 92 today.
This morning had very light rain until 10am then it was sunny intervals and light winds from the east north east temp 14c feels like 14c.
Good morning all, partly cloudy and a gentle breeze temp 4c to 15c Precipitation 0% Sunrise 6.00 Sunset 20.14 No rain is expected today
