Flowers For In The House

We were coming home from from the lottie and a chap presented us with these.

 

Those are pretty, what are they?

 

Shaw— Those are tulips. They look a bit weird, don’t they?

 

Not weird, they just could use a tall vase to help keep them more upright.

 

They certainly look unusual, but they are beautiful!

 

Those tulips are an old style here. Look at this 17th Century painting with the old-fashioned vase:

 

ooohhh, at first when i was looking at them (yours and even this old painting) it had an Iris look to the blooms, but it also didn't, which is how I got confused and I'm WAY off what I thought it was in my head anyway but that's nice!
