I was happy just to get something Raven Often times money was too tight to buy anything even a card.I was happy to have just one of his sweet smiles.

I hope every one had a happy heart day! Friends of mine own a flower shop so I volunteered to help them out! What a mad house!! Some of the arrangements that went out that door yesterday were absolutely gorgeous!!
I'm not gifted enough to do any flower arranging so I helped customers place orders and take money, that kind of thing. Teen age boys and young men are so funny to watch! They know they want roses and that's about all they know :-D Money seems to be no object either! Wow to be young and in love :D Don't know what prices were around the country but we sold a dozen long stemmed roses arranged in a vase for $83 Some of the colors were amazing too. Red is always the classic but the flower growers have introduced some awesome color combinations. The flower shop is closed today so they can all rest :D I'm back at work today with some really sore feet! This desk job has spoiled me :D

Deanna you had a busy day. Sounds like it was a fun day being a different experience for you.

It is amazing how much money is spent on cut flowers that day. When Lisa was in the high school jazz band, we were doing fund raisers to send them to two Jazz festivals in Switzerland and Holland...one of the fund raisers was working for a florist making Valentines Day deliveries. It was a medium size shop but still kept about 10 cars busy all day.
