This sounds like a joke, therefore I'm posting it in that forum. But it is a true happening; had all the media people getting excited on camera and with their word processors (don't you wish they could spell, make complete sentences, and punctuate). =============================================== A case of underestimating the ammo requirements : As reported earlier this week, some dirt bag who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop in Florida ended up "executing" the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed. A statewide manhunt ensued. The low-life was found hiding in a wooded area with his gun. SWAT team officers fired and hit the guy 68 times. Now here's the kicker: Asked why they shot him 68 times; Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, told the Orlando Sentinel.. .........."That's all the bullets we had." ====================================== Talk about your cryptic answer! ! lol, fm Hank.........
It is no joke and I will march to it. I just do not know how police officers can do the job they do with all they have to put up with, As someone who has worked on 3 sherrifs campaign commities and was a special deputy for one, I just do not know how they do it. It has to be a really tough job. God bless them. dr
68 shots?? The guy was probably dead long before the 68th shot hit him. The poilce in Florida sure don't mess around!
Good for them - might make the next low-life have some pause before he copies that one! I hope they made him into swiss cheese. Excellent answer!
