Well, I'm swamped in yard work. Passing back and forth with my wheelbarrow I run into these guys with their toys at the ready. Sorry guys, too busy for you all right now. They are getting tired of sitting up but are still hopeful. They give up. Maybe later fellas.
Gorgeous dogs Bethie. I just love German Shepherds! And they do love their toys...my shepherd "Shadow" would wait very patiently with her toys while I worked in the garden. Sometimes she waited many hours until the garden work was done. No matter how worn out I was, I always threw the ball for her when I was done. She died 4 years ago at the age of 13 and I buried her in the spot she used to lay in wait with her ball. I still miss her a lot.
My brother has a 2 year old German Shepherd named Bobby and he is always, ALWAYS ready to play. I don't know where he gets his energy from. He's frustrating to play with however as when he fetches something he never gives it back until you turn your back to walk away. Then once you 'agree' to play again he just runs away with it They are beautiful dogs Bethie!
Very cute dogs. My lab is always right beside me too, when I am doing yard work...but usually lays down where I need to work....lol Funny how they get are hearts in a moment, but keep them forever...
Such patience!! Our old Lab used to follow me with his eyes wherever I went outdoors. A neighbour once said that he looked as though he was watching a tennis match when I went from one end of the garden and back again!! Keep posting photographs of your handsome boys Bethie. I love seeing them. :-D
Wonderful doggies, Bethie. Greyhounds do NOT play ball. They poke their noses in the air unless, of course, you are willing to stop and give a belly rub.
Those guys are so pretty.Kevin has a German Shepard. He is a beauty. He will bite and has to stay on a chain. My little Oreo loves his toys so much.
How can you not play with cuties like those. We had a German Shepard mix, a little lighter than your brown one. He was 4 when Amanda was born and they were inseparable when she was growing up. He was 16 when he died and she still talks about how they played in the backyard.
