Hi I joined here because I'd like to start gardening really. I used to help my mum when I was little, and now I quite like the idea of growing my own vegetables again.

Wow this is a great welcome :-D I'm a student from Kent. Hmm hobbies and interests...well I like walking, done a lot of walks in East Anglia, and I enjoy fishing as well.
Hello there Lady Florence so nice to have you join us here. :-D You must tell us about some of the walks you've done and about your fishing interest. I'm from West Lothian in Scotland and if there's anything I can help you out with just let me know.
Hi Lady Florence, welcome to the Stew from north Texas. Dive right in with any questions you might have about gardening and we love pictures of other people's places, gardens or future garden areas.
Hey toni! Pictures of my garden at the moment won't be any good, not much of a garden. Moving soon though. Hey eileen, been doing the Angles Way, bit by bit over the few years. Would love to do the coast to coast one day though. My mum did it and she said it was great.
My husband and eldest son have done the West Highland Way, The Caledonian Way and erm.... let me think ... The Southern Upland Way (I think that's what it's called anyway) for charity for years now and really enjoy the walks. :-D
Thanks for the welcome everyone! And those walks sound nice Eileen, I do like the Scottish countryside, would be nice to walk there. I best have a look round the rest of this forum!
