I love the last one whatever it is. I have seen it before but don't remember the name. I'd keep a watch on that tutle herder. He looks like trouble.

Nice varied selection of photos Courtney, plenty for the eye to feast on. Gnome and turtle, very interesting combination :D It's sad to see the daffodils expire isn't it. What a fine birthday present!

Great pictures Courtney, glad to see the canna growing for you.
I have a Gaura too..twirling butterflies...found it at the end of season sale last fall, this year it is really growing to a good size.

You know how you pass up the opportunity to buy something, then later figuratively kick yourself for not having bought it? I saw four of the Fiber Optic grass plants last weekend on the other side of town, started to buy them, changed my mind and have been kicking myself since then for not getting them. Too far away for a quick trip to get them, I will have to scout out the garden centers close to home.

The Ganzia is gorgeous...another color version of the African Daisy from what I can find.

Great pictures Courtney. I think that last flower is a Gazania. Does it close up at night?

Gazania's are nice flowers with vibrant colors. They will stay closed on overcast days too.
I forgot to tell you what a great gift you got! I keep telling everyone I want roses for my birthday this year, but I think I'd like a patio set! Or both! :D
