Hi John, welcome to the Stew from north Texas. From what I have read Hybrid Tea roses are extremely high maintainence so you would want to avoid them. I am going to order some Heirloom roses from one of the websites I gave you yesterday, have heard heirlooms are relatively easy to handle.
John and welcome to GardenStew from West Lothian in Scotland. It's lovely to have you here with us and I'm sure you'll get lots of good advice and information from the folks here. :-D

Hi John, very pleased to meet you. You'll find some very talented rose growers here at the Stew. I'm sure that they'll have some great recommendations for you.
Hi john welcome to the stew. If you are looking for low care roses I would look to the landscape roses and the english roses that are more freeform growing and need less pruning to do well. ER
Hi! I don't know much about roses but Cottage Farms Direct has theirs on sale. They have a wonderful no questions asked one year warranty on their plants. I've used it ALOT. They ship wonderful plants...it's my fault...but they don't care. Good Luck.
