Why is it that no matter what oscillator I buy, it always gets stuck and waters one part of my lawn? Does anyone know of a really good one or can recommend an easy fix? Thanks, Dean
I make sure i have enough water pressure. It's cranked till it's half-way in the neighbor's yard. I just think plastic pieces as gears don't go hand and hand.
Water pressure was the first thing that came to my mind too Dean. We have tried several different kinds at work and have a problem with them oscillating in certain areas. The pressure is OK at first and the longer it runs the worse they work. These same sprinklers work just fine at other taps.
I don't know if you water from a well, but there tends to be fine grit in our well water which makes our oscillators malfunction.
My hubby takes a screwdriver and makes the top go back and forth a few times and it seems to work. I think there was dirt in them because it fixed them .
I also have tha problem so i just switched to the ones that go in circles spritzing plants then goes back around .. forgot what they are called. We have well water and its very hard water so the fine holes cause LOTS of hard water build up and they end up clogging to much to bother with the oscillator ones. We spent a bit more money on the other ones but they have a lifetime warranty and work really well.
