Hello everyone, I'm new to garden stew and am looking forward to expanding my limited gardening knowledge base. My yard is virtually a blank canvas save a small daylily garden I started from plants I dug up from my grandma's flower bed. My main focus at the moment is the daylily plant and I hope to learn all I can. I live near the coast of NC and am a paramedic. I'm nearly 40 years old, married and have 2 children. If you'd like to know more about me, just ask. I'm an open book! The best way to get to know me is to read my blogs on myspace. Jillian

Hi again!!! Your job as a paramedic must be so intersting - never two days the same as each other. However, it must also be very stressful at times so it's nice to know that are thinking of taking up gardening as a hobby. There's nothing better than getting out of doors and playing in the dirt!!! :-D Ask as many questions as you like and we'll all try to help you out as best we can.
