    Hello everyone,
I thought I would introduce myself, I am an avid cook and baker although with everyman & his dog on a diet I only get to bake for high days and holy days, except bread I still bake all my own.
I am the designer in the garden whilst my husband does the labouring, except the lawn I like to do that, I like nice and tidy, not the flower beds a bit like my cooking a little flamboyant
    Thats me
    hope to chat soon
    Myra

Hey Myra and welcome to the Stew! I too love to bake and cook, so maybe we could swap recipes some time. I look forward to hearing more about your garden and perhaps seeing some photos!

Hi Myra, welcome to the Stew from north Texas.
Yes we do love pictures, so any you would care to share will be appreciated. Do you have any hobbies or pets?

I used to love to bake and am getting the urge to do some this year, after we buy a new stove that is.

If you have any good bread recipes please post them in the Recipes and Cooking forum.

    Hi there Myra.

My husband bakes all the bread in this house - mine is always a disaster  but he seems to have just the right touch. I used to bake every Monday when the kids were at home - everything from biscuits to decorated cakes, pastries and pies. Sadly now that it's just the two of us I don't do much baking at all. :(

WELCOME to GardenStew and I hope you enjoy being here as much as we all do. :stew2:

Welcome. You are so right about the baking. I used to bake all the time. Now I personally don't eat sugar :( the dogs have dieted from time to time and I don't want a fat hubby. :) Now I only get to bake for company. I just hope it's not a use it or lose it situation. Looking forward to a chat.

Howdy Myra from EAst Texas...You found a friendly bunch of folks here at the stew. I don't like to cook or bake, but sure love to eat ;) I use to enjoy cooking but it is hard to do when you are only cooking for one! Easier to eat out :p
