Hello to all from (finally) raining North Georgia USA. I retired Aug5 07. I owned a yarn shop in N GA. I spent my first months gardening, knitting, and tearing up my cabin for remodeling. I live in a small cabin on a very large trout stream. My DH and I and cat, feed the trout, so we have ALOT of them. I have been married for 30 yrs. My DH had a heart attack 7 yrs ago and his health is precarious, as expected. I am working on before and after pics of my garden and cabin, so far mostly of this silly cat. I look forward to getting to know your lovely community.
We look forward to getting to know you too Purlgold. :-D Welcome to our forums from Scotland where it's been very cold and frosty lately.
zuzu, I love Bats! I built a bat house and posted on a holly tree. We had a red headed bat last year, but I think it was too close to our firepit and he left. I moved the bat house and will look for another one in the spring/summer. d

Hello purlgold Welcome to the stew from southern Ontario! Your dry conditions there have even made the news here in Ontario so I'm glad to hear you are getting some rain.
Hello from Michigan. Glad to have you with us! Is your cat an outside cat to where he/she would get to see all the trout? That'd be an amusing sight to see. Though most cats dislike water, so maybe not. I look forward to getting to know you better. Welcome!
Hello from Southern Oregon I think you must live in the most beautiful spot on earth!! I spent one summer in Clarkesville GA and would dearly love to go back!! Deanna :-D
