The Good Day All Thread

Good morning to all. Starting to snow this morning. 30 degr. F out there. Not much to do in the winter, guess its time to go to the library and pick out some new garden books.

 

Good morning from Wisconsin's North Woods, Home of the World Championship Snowmobile races, It snowed a couple inches over night, and is still snowing. Got down to 5° F (-15° C) last night, may get up to mid 20's later today. The plan today is for a horse day, the kids want to see the horses, and I haven't gotten any new pictures in a while. So we all may load into the 4 wheel drive, and head over to the barn.

we had some snow lastnight, its sice stopped but the weatherman says, squalls later today for us.

Good morning! The muffins were done and are now half gone. I think I will hang a bag with the rest on the neighbor's gate. Too many good things to eat at this time of the year. Last night a tutor who uses the library a lot brought us a large bucket of cookies as a thank you for our help. We already had a large tin of cookies from a patron. These are for the night crew and there are only four of us. Anyway, it's still cloudy and cold but it might warm up to 50's before afternoon. Have a good day. dooley

 

Good morning! It's about 39 at my place. Had a major windstorm last night that apparently only hit the prairie, knocked power out for awhile. But, there were scattered snow flurries all over the area, and the passes now are officially impassable without chains- happy news for the skiiers, but rough on people just trying to get somewhere. I try to avoid the passes this time of year, SO glad I don't have any family in Eastern Wa.! (bit hard typing with freezing fingers, though, lol!)

 

Good afternoon and Happy Tuesday! It's 46 F here and sunny, with some showers predicted tonight and no freezing night temperatures. I'm going to be out this evening, speaking at a YWCA event, but it's close to here. Right now I'm headed for lunch. Have a good day, everyone!

Good morning all! My lovely snow is raining away and we've got an inch-thick layer of slush everywhere.

4 deg C - 39 deg F. I just hope the rain will remove all the snow before we get another freeze, or else lots of people will end up in the hospital with broken bones.

My heart goes out to all stewbies who have to endure the freezing cold at the moment.

 

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -13°C and sunny...quite a change from last nights blizzard and high winds.
I haven't really made plans for the day yet. I do know I need to pay some bills.

We got that same blizzard too Netty, and wow did it ever go through here, they closed some roads for the night.
Its clear here now but cold, -12!
