Good morning all. Heavy overcast today, might rain-might not...tomorrow and Sunday the same.

Doing some gift shopping today, plus Lisa is looking for a chaise lounge for a corner of their bedroom so we just HAVE to go to our favorite thrift store to look.

Good Morning from Wisconsin's Great North woods, home of the longest chain of lakes in the world. Brilliant sunshine this cold morning, not a cloud in the sky and the temperature is 0 F (-18 C) again. Yesterdays high was 12 F (-11 C) and it looks like today will be more of the same. We all went to the barn yesterday, and the horses were all good. Mimi and Jo Ann both rode, and 3 year old Alex got to ride with a little help. The packers took one to the chin last night, but 10 and 2 ain't too bad for the youngest team in the NFL. Wishing you all a great last day of November.

Good morning! It's actually wet outside this morning. Either it's rain or someone left their BIG hose running last night. Wasn't me so it must be rain. Dark and gloomy looking outside. I have a day off so maybe soup and cookie making today. I also have to move a few bears around. There's no room for the little bear tree, let alone a big tree. dooley

Good afternoon. :) This is my first winter garden and I watch the weather forecasts every day. It's supposed to have gotten to freezing last night. It doesn't seem to have affected anything currently growing. The blooming flowers are still blooming; even the new dahlia leaves and buds don't seem affected. The kale is, of course, thriving, and my other winter greens don't seem to have noticed any freeze.

It's currently 42 F out, with tonight predicted to get down to 29, and some flurries of snow expected tomorrow. Tonight I might cover some of the plants, at least the still-budding dahlia.

Right now Wes and I are going shopping. Have a great day, all!

Good morning all, it's December 1st and the Christmas decorations are going up today. Most of them anyway.

    Temps are 4 deg C - 39 deg F and overcast.

Hope it will stay dry, because I have to scrub the stairs and make the entrance look nice. It's enough getting wet from below. Have a nice Saturday all!

    Good morning everybody.

Another lovely day in sunny South Africa.
    14 - 27 degrees Celsius predicted.
I am going to be a busy bee - with washing, dishes, cleaning up etc. This is all a consequence of having people over to watch cricket. (Which SOuth Africa lost incidently.)

    Have a good Saturday.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -17°C and sunny. We had another nasty winter storm last night with snow and very high gusty winds. Weatherman says we will get more of the same for the rest of the weekend. Winter has hit us early this year.
Today we will start a bit of Christmas decorating.
Have a great day all :)

Good Morning from Wisconsin's North Woods, Home of Vilas county, where there are more named lakes than any other area of land of equal size in the world. Last nights low was -10° F (-23° C). Yesterdays high was 7° F (-14° C) and on top of all the cold, the weather guy is saying we could get between 8 and 10 inches of new snow over the next 24 hours. This is turning into January and February type weather. However the snow on the ground before the frost gets started will keep the frost depth a good deal shallower. That's good for water pipes and septic systems etc. Wishing a good day to you all.

Good Saturday everyone. About 17 degrees F. right now. Snow on the ground. We're watching for a bad snow storm coming this weekend with freezing rain on Sunday. Today's duties, I will have to take my daughters 4-H rabbit to the vet. Then later going to pick up our newest member of our family-a sheltie pup. Have a good Saturday.

Good morning all. We have a warm, muggy, overcast day and only a small possibility of rain maybe tonight or tomorrow morning.
Our temps for the next week will be ranging between 65-75 but as long as the night time temps stay in the 40's I will be happy.
