I have been wanting a new camera...one with a higher megapixel than 5. I want a camera dock to put it on to recharge, I want macro setting, I want a really good close up setting...I just want it all but when I go and start reading all the information my mind just gets so confused and mixed up...and I can't pick one..It can't be too hard to use...I want one that can take a couple shots right after one another..I hate getting a camera and not liking it after it is too late to return...I do like ordering them through QVC because you can use it almost a month and if you don't like it...send it back..and I have. The only problem there is they only have so many cameras...Maybe I am just being too picky but I like to get my moneys worth. How do you pick your camera and what features do you want? I don't even mind spending a couple hundred if it gets me all the features I want...but I can't decide...
My family gave me one for Christmas. though it has 4.0 megapixels. I like the fact that its digital and after taking any pictures I can come right in and download them and save them into my computer. Its an olympus with zoom lens.
Sherry the best thing you can do is go to a friend who is a camera buff and ask their advice. If you don't know anyone that's a keen photographer then the next best thing is to go to a reliable camera shop and ask their opinion on which models are best for you. Take notes of the cameras they advise you to buy and then look the reviews about each one on the net. When you're satified as to which one you want then check out where you can get the model at the cheapest price then go for it. Good luck!!!

about digital cameras Sherry, I have 2 digital cameras.... my first one is about 5 years old and still takes great pictures. It's a Leica digilux 4.3 megapixel.....it has a macro setting (can do photos of my dollhouse) and have them look real. It also has 80 seconds of video with sound.... among alot of other feartures.
