Now that we have this new computer I want to install a photo editing suite that is really simple to find your way around. Do any of you have any recommendations for me please? Thanks. :stew1:

Try the picture publisher. Their are a lot of free products out their that are very easy to use. Just search on google.

Eils you could try GIMP at http://www.gimp.org/ . I haven't used it in depth but it looks like just the ticket. There is also Picasa from Google.

Great to see you back online with us!

I've got PhotoPhiltre and GIMP. The PP is a lot like PhotoShop but the free version lacks a lot of the good features. I haven't tested the GIMP properly, because it seems to need some work getting used to.

Thanks for all your help and advice. I think I'll go along with ACDsee as it's what I had on my other computer so it'll save me having to learn all about a new one. I looked at the others suggested but my last brain cells are running for cover at the thought of trying to cope with more new stuff. :D :D

GIMP is probably the best free one but i wouldn't call it simple at all :) ACDSee really has some basic that might be enough for you. You can also check the CD which comes with your digital camera, they often provide decent photo editing softwares
