If anyone is intrested tonight is a lunar eclipse along with the full moon. This won't happen again for another 3 yrs. Here in Norway the time will be Feb 21, after 3am in the morning. In the states it will be tonight the 20th. Just subtract 6 hours from my time for east coast, then one hour for each time zone going west. People on the west coast won't see the actual start of the eclipse will see it when the moon rises. The Asia area is the only place that won't see it at all. GMT time will be after 2am.

I think i will take a little nap later to see the eclipse, if the clouds ever leave. lol. Figures.

Here in Wisconsin the full eclipse should occur between 9:00 - 10:00 PM tonight. Temps are supposed to be subzero, so I'll have to bundle up before viewing. Should be neat! Biita...maybe you'll have some of your wonderful Northern Lights to go along with this show tonight.

It will peak in north Texas around 11:30 tonight but we might not get to see it because of some rain clouds moving in this evening.

Everyone take your camera out with you to get some good pictures and post them for us tomorrow.

Its raining and snowing here,, thick white clouds out there,, i probably won't see it either,, but i will check.

That would be awesome with the Northern Lights and the eclipse,, i hope it clears,, but i don't think its cold enough for the lights to be dancing tonight.

It's cloudy here again, so I doubt we'll get to see it. :( My astronomically inclined husband will try, I'm sure.

We have clouds rolling in. But if we get to see it at all, it should be between 10:00 p.m. - 11:00p.m. Getting pictures would be nice to see. fingers are crossed. :)

Thanks for the remainder, Biita. I noticed on the weather tonite that you guys in Norway are in for a bit of a storm sadly enough. I hope that you get a break in the weather, if only for a few minutes.
I never tire of seeing these eclipses. It's one of those special little shows that the universe puts on for us once in a while. I can see why your man is interested, Droopy...it's FUN...I guess you'll be on one ear then, eh?
It's a bit foggy, but I'm going to have a look if I can do it quietly so as not to wake my partner.

Blast the clouds have rolled in here too and it's raining. After almost a week of clear skies it's a bit annoying that the weather decided to change tonight of all nights. :(
