I think I kind of like the name Cedar for a boy. It is strong, unique, and kind-o-cool. My husband would think I was off, but I like it. I can picture a young man by that name in my mind's eye.
I over heard a mother talking to her daughter in the grocery store...her name was Cedar. I thought it was a cute name dirt2diamonds.
My sister's name is Heather, after the plant. I also know some one named Olivia Rose as a first name. For pets I have had a Jasmine (cat) and know a Daisy (dog) and a Lily (dog). I almost forgot there are two dogs at work named Garlic and Basil.
My daughter is named Rosemary, and she usually goes by Rose, so does that count as two different plants? ;-) I suppose boy names might include Woody and Ashton...
