Hello from Livingston, Texas. I'm Lauren and I am starting my very first vegetable garden this year out behind my house. I am going to try very hard to make a large (30 X 15 foot) vegetable garden grow and produce this year. I'm grateful for any advise suggestions or tips you feel like offering and look forward to learning from yall's experiances.

Hi Lilyplanter, welcome to the Stew from north Texas
Now is the time to get your seeds started, the weather is beautiful and you have less chance of a late season freeze than I do here.

Be sure to take some pictures of the garden in progress, we love to follow new garden growth.

Hello LillyPlanter from a little ways down the road from you at Madisonville .I love your city but all those piney woods mess my allergies up more than they are now.
You will find its not hard to raise lots of veggies.
I think you will learn lots of things from people on the Stew .If you have questions just ask.
    Welcome aboard Our Stew.
